PlayStation and
Xbox 360 games created by my Japanese friends are all good, and nothing stupid. Take for example my genius friends from Capcom who created so many fighting games that I can't remember them all. Now, they have a new game called Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. This is a powerful samurai action adventure that takes gamers into the ancient history of Japan.
The game lets you play as Soki, a blonde warrior, who will heroically try to save Japan from yet another disastrous evil invasion. You, along with two characters, take a long journey battling bad guys and monsters until you defeat Oda Nobunaga, a warlord possessed by evil spirits. What I noticed about this game is that villains just won't die even if you whack them with your weapon for ten successive times, nasty! But there's no worry about being severely attacked by enemies because you can get healing items to nurse you back to health. Another thing is that the story is so long and filled with "adlibs" meaning the characters chat a lot before heading to another level. However, the story was so good that you'll not notice it because you're so engrossed with the game. And by the way, the
graphic design and sound are superb so I don't mind dealing with demons while playing the game.
