My friend called me up the other week. She said her boyfriend just broke up with her for another girl. My friend was yelling on the phone that I could hear her voice even if I stretched my arm away from my ears. All of a sudden, she stopped and stayed quiet. I thought she was already crying, but that was a mistake. She blurted another set of rantings about her useless boyfriend. I mean, her stupid ex-boyfriend.
So, I told her to come to my house to talk slowly and calmly. She immediately agreed, and in less than 20 minutes she was in my living room -- talking like a parrot. My 7 year old nephew asked a funny question when she saw my friend. Has anny gone mad? He calls my friend anny, his own term for aunt. I just smiled at him and told him to go inside the room with his mom. But he insisted to stay in the living room and, after a short while, asked if he could play with the Playstation.
Thanks to my nephew, my friend had stopped her sputtering about her ex. They both played a game like the Search and Rescue game for computers with my PS2. Afterwards, they played with my newly bought Madcatz 8288. It's a blue gun accessory for the entertaining Playstation 2 and Playstaion 1. It has vibration to simulate the real feel of firing a gun. It also has an automatic firing and auto reloading function. I bought it for $19 only. Now, I realize that my Madcatz 8288 has more function than just giving fun. It's useful to calm mad people (like my friend).

 I first played Tekken when I was in high school using my Sony Play Station. My cousin just influenced me to play it because I'm against violence. He told me to just play with him since he had no one else to play with (nice substitute). I remember there was only one character whom I could really control smoothly. I couldn't remember his name, but he was damn good! I always lost to my cousin but at least, I think, I won twice.

PSP has a fresh and new challenging game. It's Tekken Dark Resurrection. I bought this software just last week and I've been addicted to it since. After long years of studying the techniques of Tekken characters, I can say that I'm an expert right now. I'm glad that Tekken is now available for Play Station Portable. This game requires a 2.60 firmware. I only know this Japanese version, I'm still researching for an American version. Plus, it added two new characters: Lili and Sergei Dragunov.

I really enjoy playing with my PSP. Sometimes I play with my friends via bluetooth, and I often play alone. It's fun even if I'm alone in a coffee shop, waiting for somebody to arrive. I actually don't know who I'm waiting for; I just enjoy sitting at coffee shops and play with my PSP. Listen to me, get your own PSP now for more convenient entertainment and forget those bulky gaming laptops.

 If you're a game music fanatic, you must know this original Kingdom Hearts II Soundtrack. Many people have been posting their reviews of the OST and I only found one common denominator, that is, they LOVE KH! I can sense that they're sincerely talking from their heart because I heard words like "never stop listening to it" and "it never gets old". I believe them because I'm a KH fan, too! Whenever I play KH, I love the background music that cradles my imagination.

You might say that the KH OST is more like the Legend of Mana. Or, sometimes you will hear a playful sound like the one in Super Mario. This is because of Yoko Shinomura who is the voice of Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, and sometimes Super Mario Soundtracks. One example of her song is Dearly Beloved that exudes a lulling melody and calm music. I love this song because it reminds me of my special someone. Shinomura has her unique style; you would instantly recognize her music whichever game you play.

The news last night frustrated me. It said that Israel just bombed Quana and killed 54 people. I was thinking when this war would end. And it really bothered me that Israel, the supposedly holy land, is engaged in a war that is full of violence. Anyway, I just turned the TV off and played with my PS2. Incidentally, I just bought this MADCATZ 6320 Racing Wheel. Needless to say, I just diverted my attention to it. As a result, I never slept the whole night.

I raced the whole night without my awareness that the sun was getting up. When I heard the birds at my window, I decided to end the game and go to bed. However, I just couldn't stop thinking of the war as I lay on the bed trying to sleep. You see, it just seems that these people are narrow-minded because they wouldn't give up on this war.

 I don't know if Israel still knows its holy belief, that is, not to kill women and children. I wanted to scream: Wake up Israel! Warner Bros. is releasing its new animated film entitled "The Ant Bully". It is about a boy named Lucas who is an outcast in their school. In simple words, he's a loser. So, because he's a loser he diverts his frustrations to these innocent creatures that are living happily on the ground. Lucas destroys anthills that the ant wizard gets angry and turns him into an ant-sized boy, and to return to his normal size again he must learn to survive the ant life first.

Playstation 2 has become one of the fastest selling gaming consoles in history. With over 100 million units shipped by November 2005, this console beat the previous record holder which is PlayStation. On its release, it already set the mark of being the fastest selling console by breaking the record held previously by the Sega Dreamcast. This console still outsells its current main competition, Xbox, and Gamecube as of the middle of the year. It's competitor Xbox 360, however, scored a new record for fastest selling system worldwide when it was launched on November 22, 2005.

Cube games are definitely a hit if game spinners put more colors and great music on them. There are many Xbox 360 games and PlayStation games that fall in the cube category. Though they are not as enjoyable as action adventure games and role-playing games, cubes are considered as breathers for most gamers. Breathers here means they serve as an alternate game when a gamer gets too tired killing people and sucking blood. And I think cubes make good breathers, really.

 Lumines II: Puzzle Fusion is one of the latest cube games that will be introduced to the worldwide game-freaking market this year. Color-coded cubes will fall from the top of the screen to the bottom. The cubes are composed of four blocks that are either color blue or white. All you have to do is to make sure that you combine four blocks of similar colors to make the cubes disappear. Plus points if you can make more cubes evaporate.

Explaining the game on paper is really confusing for the writer and the three-four readers. So, if you're confused, read this blog entry again and think about Tetris, because they have the same gameplay. Anyway, you can score more points by rotating the blocks to follow the color-code and make cubes disappear like bubble. What's great about this game is that you can customize your fighting combo. This means you can choose a specific fighting style like punch-kick combos or juggle maneuvers. First off, take note that in this game, the character is not blessed with a blocking ability. Therefore, to avoid damage, you must duck your head out of harm's way. You can also do a backflip somersault if you want. In addition, you can use the Roulette attack, which will give you a wheel of special powers when you're too desperate to kill an opponent or you need to inflict huge amount of damage to a crowd of villains.

If you're an anime fan like me, you'll know that her character is somewhat related to Dennis in Ghost Fighter and Inu Yasha in Inu Yasha. As Amaterasu, you can jump on walls, lurk around the environment, head-butt things and enemies, and change your environment by painting on the screen. Speaking of painting, you can change night into day by simply painting a sun in the sky. Gamers who love painting will definitely find this game cool.

To finish the game, you have to free all the villagers from the darkness that has enveloped them and bring back the world's original state. It involves a lot of artwork, fighting, and attack combinations. It also has a lot of side quests, which entails digging for treasures, cleaning different gateways, and searching for maps and clues. Overall, the game is packed with excitement and adventure, not to mention cool graphic designs.
